This Wednesday, March 2nd, the opening and mandatory entrance to school began for most of the students of the Colina commune.
The entrance to educational establishments is carried out under various precautionary measures, due to the covid-19 pandemic, which include the constant use and replacement of masks, use of alcohol gel and taking a temperature upon entering.
The protocol implemented by the Ministry of Education for the return to the classroom states that “educational establishments must carry out their activities and classes in person, regardless of the phase of the Step by Step Plan in which they are. Both the opening of the educational premises and the attendance of students is mandatory and the Full School Day (JEC) is resumed”.
In addition. due to the high percentage of vaccination achieved by the students – most of whom have the complete vaccination schedule -, “capacity restrictions are eliminated in all areas within the educational establishments and, as far as possible in each educational center, it is urged to promote distancing in daily activities”.
This morning, the Mayor of Colina, Isabel Valenzuela, was receiving children and young people from the Andalién school, corroborating compliance with the sanitary measures implemented by the Ministry of Education.
